Celeste Barclay
Celeste Barclay, a nom de plume, lives near the Southern California coast with her husband and sons. Growing up in the Midwest, Celeste enjoyed spending as much time in and on the water as she could. Now she lives near the beach. She's an avid swimmer, a hopeful future surfer, and a former rower.
Before becoming a full-time author, Celeste was a Social Studies and English teacher. She holds degrees in International Affairs (BA), Teaching Secondary Social Science (MAT), and Political Management (MPS). She channels that knowledge into creating rich historical romances that bring the steam.

I’ve had Plottr for a couple of years now, and despite watching various videos and “tinkering” with the program, I never got the hang of it. The idea of plotting and being (I imagined) bound to a template just didn’t sit with my freewriter (a vastly improved term I came up with in hopes of forever banishing the term “pantser”) mind and method.
There was no way I could use Plottr or organize the hundreds of scenes in my novel!
Or so I thought.
Watching this video, along with downloading and opening the template, and exporting to Word was my “Ah ha!” moment.
Now I understand how to FINALLY use Plotter to build my first draft – something I still can’t grasp with Scrivener.
I now have to reason to get the Plottr upgrade.
